Principal/Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

Responsibilities

• Lead backend architecture design and development of scalable microservices-based systems
• Drive cloud-native solutions using Azure services including Event Hub, Function Apps, and Blob Storage
• Own system design decisions, architecture documentation, and technical roadmaps
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure high-quality, maintainable code
• Mentor and guide developers to foster technical growth and engineering best practices
• Collaborate with product, QA, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Manage technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and system risks
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and deployment automation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• 7–10 years of experience in .NET development (.NET Framework, .NET Core)
• Expertise in ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs, and backend system design
• Strong expertise in SQL Server 2019, database design, and query optimization
• Proven experience in Microservices Architecture and Distributed Systems
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services
• Deep knowledge of Design Patterns including SOLID, DDD, and CQRS
• Proven technical leadership experience managing teams of developers
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with API Gateways or Service Mesh like Ocelot or YARP
• Experience with PostgreSQL and cloud data services like Azure Data Lake
• Proficiency in JavaScript/jQuery, with React Native experience being a plus
