Principal Security Engineer, Product & AI

Responsibilities

• Lead product security engineering for the payment platform, including threat modeling and API security
• Mature the AI security program by developing genAI controls and securing ML pipelines
• Provide security architecture oversight for infrastructure, including endpoint, network, and VPN security
• Develop self-service security tooling and developer-facing guardrails
• Perform security assessments of AI/ML model architectures and training pipelines
• Mentor security engineers and communicate risks to executive audiences

Requirements

• 10+ years of security engineering experience with technical leadership
• Deep expertise in product security, threat modeling, and secure SDLC
• Strong interest or experience in AI/ML security (adversarial attacks, prompt injection, etc.)
• Proficiency in cloud-native environments, preferably AWS
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Go, or similar
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks like PCI DSS, SOX, SOC2, or NIST CSF

Preferred Qualifications

• Fintech or financial services experience
• Hands-on experience with LLM security (RAG, agent security patterns)
• Experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, and containerized workloads
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CISA
