Principal Security Engineer

Parloa is building the next generation of agentic AI for enterprise customer experience. Our Conversational Platform powers real-time voice and chat AI agents that handle complex, natural conversations at scale for some of the world's largest enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical security engineering strategy across Parloa's platform, infrastructure, and AI/ML systems
• Lead deep threat modelling and architecture reviews for new and existing systems, including LLM-based and voice/chat AI pipelines
• Drive secure-by-design practices into the software development lifecycle
• Design and improve detection, monitoring, and incident response capabilities across cloud and AI infrastructure
• Guide security architecture for multi-tenant, sensitive data flows
• Support compliance and governance efforts such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001
• Mentor senior engineers and security practitioners
• Act as a technical voice in conversations with enterprise customers regarding security matters

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in security engineering at Staff or Principal level
• Deep expertise in application security, cloud security, and threat modelling
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Strong understanding of IAM, encryption, and secure data handling
• Experience securing systems handling sensitive or regulated data (GDPR)
• Proven track record of driving security strategy and influencing engineering culture
• Excellent communication skills for explaining risk to leadership and customers
