Principal Secretary

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive secretarial support to the Head Coach of Football, the entire Football staff, and the broader program
• Manage data entry, word-processing, and administrative tasks to support athletic operations
• Utilize spreadsheet, database, and email software to maintain organized program records
• Perform shorthand, stenographic, or machine transcription as required
• Maintain effective communication and client service standards within the athletic department

Requirements

• High school or vocational school education (or equivalent)
• At least three years of equivalent experience in secretarial, clerical, or college-level study
• Minimum of one year of direct secretarial experience
• Proficiency in data entry, word-processing, and spreadsheet/database software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required
• Must complete and attach the "Affirmation of Association with a Prospective Student-Athlete Form"

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of NCAA compliance rules and regulations
• Experience booking travel through professional travel agencies
• Experience using Teamworks and Jumpforward software
