Principal Secretary

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive secretarial support to the Head Coach of Football, the football staff, and the entire program
• Manage administrative tasks including data entry, word processing, and database management
• Utilize specialized software such as Teamworks and Jumpforward to support athletic operations
• Maintain effective communication with staff and stakeholders
• Perform clerical duties including managing email, spreadsheets, and other office software
• Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the football schedule

Requirements

• High school or vocational school education (or equivalent)
• At least three years of equivalent experience in secretarial, clerical, or college-level study
• Minimum of one year of direct secretarial experience
• Proficiency in data entry, typing, and word-processing
• Working knowledge of spreadsheet, database, and email software
• Experience using Teamworks and Jumpforward software
• Strong communication and client service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of NCAA compliance rules and regulations
• Experience coordinating travel and booking with travel agencies
