Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for backend, APIs, and frontend components
• Define comprehensive test strategies and own the end-to-end testing lifecycle
• Drive the adoption of best practices in testing, coding standards, and CI/CD processes
• Conduct functional, performance, and security testing to ensure high quality standards
• Debug complex issues and work closely with developers to resolve root causes
• Mentor and guide junior SDETs and quality engineers to elevate team capabilities
• Analyze test metrics to identify improvements in processes and product quality

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software testing
• 6-8 years of experience focused on test automation
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Espresso, TestNG, or JUnit
• Experience with AI-enabled testing tools or frameworks
• Expertise in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like Locust, Gatling, K6, or JMeter
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing large-scale, distributed systems
• Knowledge of security testing tools like OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite
• Exposure to machine learning models and their testing challenges
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
