About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive discovery and translational projects integrating scRNA-seq and spatial biology into the oncology pipeline
- Collaborate with external translational teams to build single-cell and spatial biology workflows for clinical studies
- Design and execute lab-based research programs bridging clinical observations with mechanistic hypotheses
- Lead technology area teams focused on single cell genomics and spatial omics
- Partner with internal and external collaborators to deploy cutting-edge platforms for translational applications
- Represent translational science on life cycle, RWD, and BioPharma BD teams
- Lead and mentor a team of scientists and contractors
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, Molecular/Cellular Biology, Immunology, Bioengineering, or related field
- 6+ years of post-Ph.D. experience in oncology translational research within biotech or pharma
- Deep expertise in cancer cell biology, tumor immunology, cell engineering, or neoantigen biology
- Hands-on experience with single cell genomics, spatial transcriptomics, or multiomics platforms
- Strong publication or patent record
- Experience leading cross-functional programs and managing/mentoring scientists
