Principal Scientist, Computational Chemistry

Responsibilities

• Deliver virtual screening workflows using physics- and AI-based modeling methods
• Provide computational chemistry support across the drug discovery pipeline
• Guide the application of modern cheminformatics and ML/AI methods for library design
• Analyze SAR, physiochemical, and ADMET properties
• Collaborate with medicinal chemists to triage hits for synthesis or purchase
• Integrate cutting-edge AI/ML tools into chemistry processes in collaboration with data science teams

Requirements

• PhD in Computational Chemistry or related discipline with 10+ years of experience, or equivalent experience with a Master's or Bachelor's degree
• Expertise in virtual screening, HTS triaging, hit calling, and diversity analysis
• Proficiency in computational chemistry software (e.g., Schrödinger Suite, Rosetta, AlphaFold, Gromacs)
• Expertise in physics-based methods, molecular dynamics, and quantum mechanics
• Experience with cheminformatics data analysis and machine learning models
• Proficiency in scientific programming (Python, KNIME) and data analytics (Spotfire, Pandas)
• Track record of publications, patents, or conference presentations
