Principal SAP IT Technical Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical architecture and end-to-end lifecycle development for SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, and BTP objects.
• Define, diagram, and document high-level technological components to meet evolving business needs.
• Implement clean core strategies to optimize customizations in SAP and adhere to defined coding standards.
• Collaborate with functional leads and architects to translate, design, and build development objects.
• Promote and govern architectural best practices through mentorship and proven technology patterns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards related to SAP ABAP application management and integration.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements and provide project updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of experience with an Advanced degree.
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Proficiency in SAP ABAP.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BTP architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling end-to-end development lifecycles in Greenfield and Brownfield SAP S/4HANA projects.
• Expertise in HANA Architecture, CDS Views, Annotations, AMDPs, and Custom Code Remediation.
• Proficiency in SAP UI5 Framework, Fiori, and Fiori Elements.
• Development experience in BTP services, including CAP, RAP, and SAP Cloud Foundry.
• Extensive knowledge of OData, Gateway services, and SAP/Non-SAP integrations.
• Experience with Web Services, BRF+, and AIF frameworks.
• Previous experience in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industries.
• SAP Certifications in ABAP or related technologies.
