About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, managing the overall relationship between Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) and the customer.
- Drive market share by promoting, selling, and servicing Medtronic's CAS products and services.
- Implement quarterly sales plans to achieve specific sales goals and objectives.
- Provide clinical and technical support, including training and educating customers to expand market presence.
- Conduct sales calls and provide ongoing field intelligence regarding competitive activity, market changes, and customer preferences.
- Complete necessary administrative reporting, including expense reports, account profiles, and inventory logs.
- Maintain high levels of product knowledge to advise customers on developments, indications, and safety information.
Requirements
- High School Diploma and 10+ years of experience, OR Associate's degree and 8+ years of experience, OR Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience.
- Ability to travel over 75% to customer clinics, hospitals, and offsite meetings.
- Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy.
- Ability to perform Cath Lab/OR procedural observations as needed.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for up to 8 hours a day and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- 10 years of medical industry sales experience (selling physician preference products) in a hospital environment.
- 8 years of medical sales experience specifically within the Cardiology/Electrophysiology (EP) or Ablation market.
- 4+ years in Medical Device Sales.
- Demonstrable track record of high-level sales performance.
