Principal Robotics Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Match customer problem statements to ADI solutions and provide technical guidance
• Collaborate with technology groups in vision, precision, sensing, and connectivity to position ADI differentiation
• Support the creation and optimization of system architectures for robotics solutions
• Expand domain knowledge in humanoid, mobile, and outdoor robotics trends
• Drive next-generation product roadmaps for connectivity, power, vision, and motor control
• Support local sales and FAEs in deep technical discussions with robotics customers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (EE, Mechatronics, or related field)
• 10+ years of experience in the robotics domain
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying robotics systems
• Familiarity with humanoid, mobile, or collaborative robotics and industrial vision technologies (ToF, IMU, sensor fusion)
• Proven ability to influence and lead within a matrix organization without direct authority
• Strong technical communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience in product applications engineering or customer technical support
