About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform RFIC design, integration, development, and validation for intelligent integrated RF/wireless communication system-on-chip (SOC) products
  • Collaborate with system and digital teams to establish RF/Analog front-end design requirements and block specifications
  • Coordinate chip integration with other analog/RFIC design engineers and provide technical guidelines for layout teams
  • Partner with product application and production teams to complete chip characterization, production test development, and end-customer support
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members

Requirements

  • MSEE degree with 15+ years of industry experience or a Ph.D. with 10+ years of experience in Analog or RF circuit design using advanced CMOS processes
  • Proven design experience with RF front-end circuits, including LNAs, Mixers, and PAs, as well as baseband analog/mixed-signal circuits
  • Strong background in CMOS RF transceiver architectures for modern communication systems
  • Proficiency with Verilog-A/AMS and Matlab for behavioral modeling and system-level simulations
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers
  • Solid understanding of device physics and advanced CMOS processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Design experience with baseband analog circuits, including ADC/DAC and filter design
  • Experience designing for WiFi, Bluetooth, or Cellular systems
  • Experience with low-power transceiver design
  • Knowledge of RF production-level testing
  • Expertise in wireless/digital communication theory and DSP
  • Experience with EM extraction and modeling for custom passive devices
