About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead development of RF hardware systems through the development lifecycle from requirements definition to delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and specifications
- Design and implement hardware designs and support assembly, integration, and testing
- Identify and select RF system components including active/passive devices, antennas, and connectors
- Conduct supporting analyses such as RF link budgets to inform design decisions
- Support assembly, initial operation, and system check-out including test plan definition
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required to obtain a security clearance
- Expertise in RF systems design, development, requirements verification, and test planning
- Experience preparing and delivering high-level briefings to customers and senior management
- Ability to survey literature for state-of-the-art solutions
- Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of applicable experience (Master's degree or equivalent experience considered)
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance
- Expertise in radar systems or electronic warfare
- Experience in microwave engineering or analog/digital signal processing
- Background in embedded software development or physics modeling and simulation
