Principal RF Hardware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead development of RF hardware systems through the development lifecycle from requirements definition to delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and specifications
• Design and implement hardware designs and support assembly, integration, and testing
• Identify and select RF system components including active/passive devices, antennas, and connectors
• Conduct supporting analyses such as RF link budgets to inform design decisions
• Support assembly, initial operation, and system check-out including test plan definition

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required to obtain a security clearance
• Expertise in RF systems design, development, requirements verification, and test planning
• Experience preparing and delivering high-level briefings to customers and senior management
• Ability to survey literature for state-of-the-art solutions
• Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of applicable experience (Master's degree or equivalent experience considered)

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance
• Expertise in radar systems or electronic warfare
• Experience in microwave engineering or analog/digital signal processing
• Background in embedded software development or physics modeling and simulation
