Principal Research Scientist, Robot Intelligence

Responsibilities

• Conduct state-of-the-art research in robotics and embodied intelligence, including foundation models, VLA models, and 3D perception
• Design and implement research prototypes and technology demonstrators on robotic platforms
• Work within cross-functional teams to assist in design, analysis, and performance evaluation
• Provide technical leadership and shape R&D priorities
• Generate patents and scientific research papers for top-tier publication venues

Requirements

• PhD in CS, EE, Robotics, or equivalent experience
• 11+ years of post-graduate experience in robotics R&D
• Strong research track-record with first-author publications in venues like CoRL, ICRA, RAL, RSS, CVPR, or ICML
• Comprehensive understanding of robotics, machine learning, and computer vision
• Experience implementing and testing behaviors on simulated and real robots
• Proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, C++, ROS, and CUDA
