About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Quality Core Team Member (QCTM) for the Next-Gen Affera Capital program, acting as the voice of the quality organization.
- Lead a small team of engineers in the development and qualification of new hardware products.
- Develop, coordinate, and conduct technical reliability studies and Design of Experiments (DOE) constructs.
- Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures to achieve product reliability.
- Complete risk analysis studies for new designs and processes.
- Compile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics to investigate variables affecting product reliability.
- Propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and process reliability.
- Determine units or batches requiring environmental testing and specify sample sizes for statistically valid data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, OR
- Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, OR
- PhD with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical or Electronics engineering background.
- Experience in Product Development or Clinical/Feasibility project engineering.
- Experience with Design Verification (DV) and Risk Management.
- Proven experience serving as a Quality Core Team Member (QCTM).
