About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Quality Core Team Member (QCTM) for the Next-Gen Affera Capital program, acting as the voice of the quality organization.
  • Lead a small team of engineers in the development and qualification of new hardware products.
  • Develop, coordinate, and conduct technical reliability studies and Design of Experiments (DOE) constructs.
  • Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures to achieve product reliability.
  • Complete risk analysis studies for new designs and processes.
  • Compile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics to investigate variables affecting product reliability.
  • Propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and process reliability.
  • Determine units or batches requiring environmental testing and specify sample sizes for statistically valid data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, OR
  • Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, OR
  • PhD with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Electrical or Electronics engineering background.
  • Experience in Product Development or Clinical/Feasibility project engineering.
  • Experience with Design Verification (DV) and Risk Management.
  • Proven experience serving as a Quality Core Team Member (QCTM).
