Principal - Real Estate Advisory

Responsibilities

• Build and service discretionary and advisory client relationships through top-down portfolio construction and bottom-up investment selection
• Manage manager coverage and oversight of investment evaluations, including Fund Summaries and Investment Committee memos
• Drive new business development by tailoring client-oriented strategies and delivering high-quality presentation decks and RFPs
• Lead and mentor junior team members within the NY research team
• Source co-investments, secondaries, and other tactical investment opportunities
• Contribute to House Views by reporting trends from client and GP interactions

Requirements

• BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or equivalent experience
• 15+ years of experience in real estate manager or investment underwriting roles
• Expertise in top-down portfolio construction and financial modeling (pacing models, track record analysis)
• Strong investment judgment and understanding of risk/reward
• Exceptional business writing and client communication skills
• Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional accreditation such as CFA, MBA, CPA, or CAIA
