Principal Radar Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Research and lead new RF sensing implementations for advanced radar solutions
• Decompose complex customer needs into system concepts and solutions
• Create, evaluate, and document solutions using system models in Cameo
• Design and implement cutting-edge technology in multi-function radar systems
• Conduct performance analysis through simulations and real-world testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and architectures
• Develop simulation tools for test and verification of radar components

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret/SAP eligibility)
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Expert understanding of radar systems, design, and requirements verification
• In-depth knowledge of radar modes, waveform generation, and signal processing
• Proficiency in MATLAB and radar simulation tools
• Experience delivering high-level briefings to customers and senior management
• Familiarity with technical reviews (SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TIMs)
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Radar Systems Engineer (or equivalent with advanced degree)

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with SysML models in Cameo
• Experience with software-intensive systems and open architecture
• Familiarity with C, C++, or Python
