Principal Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality evaluation systems supporting Supply Chain, Program Management, and Manufacturing operations
• Evaluate and approve process deviations, engineering changes, and non-conforming material dispositions through MRB processes
• Identify and mitigate product and process risks using PFMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Diagrams
• Lead escape management investigations, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Support change management, Gate Reviews, PPAP submissions, and manufacturing readiness activities
• Develop inspection plans and conduct Gage R&R studies to ensure product conformity
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance organizational quality performance

Requirements

• STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience
• Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to specific program information

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Supplier Quality within aerospace, defense, or medical device industries
• Working knowledge of PPAP, MRB processes, Gage R&R, and Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
• Proficiency with SAP or similar quality management software systems
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications
