Principal Quality Assurance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively develop QA strategies that scale from prototype development through low rate and full rate production
• Provide leadership and guidance to setup high-level best practices that are scalable and tailorable across STR program types
• Provide subject matter expert review and feedback of relevant documents, procedures, etc.
• Provide technical guidance to programs regarding testing, verification, component selection, and root cause determination
• Aid in developing and monitoring metrics relevant to QA adoption and systemic issues

Requirements

• 10 years of directly applicable experience
• Deep and applied understanding of relevant QA standards and practices
• Experience developing and implementing QA practices in an R&D environment with electronic and electro-mechanical hardware
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• Degree related to Quality Assurance or equivalent applicable experience
