Principal Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define, perform, and review product qualifications for new products, material changes, and design or process changes
• Implement suitable stress tests for related product applications to ensure reliability
• Ensure product compliance with internal specifications, customer requirements, and international standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, IEC, and JEDEC
• Communicate qualification plans and technical data with customers at the Silicon, Package, and Board levels
• Participate in risk assessments, including DFMEA, and ensure mitigation actions are validated
• Review qualification test results and provide quality approval for production releases or change management
• Perform reliability monitoring through Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT)

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering or a relevant field
• 5+ years of professional experience in quality assurance or reliability engineering
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including wafer fab and assembly (IC and module test)
• Deep understanding of industry quality and reliability standards and qualification methodologies
• Proven experience with failure analysis workflows and quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fluency in written and verbal English
• Ability to work independently and within a global, multicultural environment
• Flexibility to undertake international travel at short notice
