About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of medium to complex Roads projects, managing scope, schedule, cost, and quality
- Develop and manage robust project execution plans and lead multidisciplinary teams
- Apply governance and risk management frameworks to ensure commercial control and financial performance
- Lead projects within Design & Construct (D&C) and contractor-led environments
- Act as the primary interface with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors
- Mentor and uplift project management capability and standards across the Roads & Civil teams
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
- Proven experience delivering Roads infrastructure projects
- Extensive experience working in D&C or contractor-led environments
- Demonstrated success managing medium to complex infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of Australian transport governance frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
- Chartered (CPEng) status or equivalent professional certification
- Formal Project Management certification
- Experience working directly with Tier 1 contractors
- Proven track record of mentoring or developing project management teams
