Principal Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of medium to complex Roads projects, managing scope, schedule, cost, and quality
• Develop and manage robust project execution plans and lead multidisciplinary teams
• Apply governance and risk management frameworks to ensure commercial control and financial performance
• Lead projects within Design & Construct (D&C) and contractor-led environments
• Act as the primary interface with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors
• Mentor and uplift project management capability and standards across the Roads & Civil teams
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
• Proven experience delivering Roads infrastructure projects
• Extensive experience working in D&C or contractor-led environments
• Demonstrated success managing medium to complex infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of Australian transport governance frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered (CPEng) status or equivalent professional certification
• Formal Project Management certification
• Experience working directly with Tier 1 contractors
• Proven track record of mentoring or developing project management teams
