Principal Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead complex SAP HANA Enterprise Application projects from planning through execution and closure
• Manage project scope, cost, schedule, risk, and contractual deliverables
• Direct all project resources, including subcontractors, and maintain effective communication with clients
• Analyze business and IT challenges to provide strategic insights
• Apply strategic risk-taking and deal-making techniques to manage complex business outsourcing contracts
• Lead the development of large and complex deals or bids
• Provide executive-level reporting and maintain a professional boardroom presence
• Apply project management methodologies and best practices specifically for SAP landscapes

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience managing SAP projects
• Recognized Project Management accreditation (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or PMBOK knowledge)
• Demonstrated experience managing at least 3 full SAP ERP project life cycles
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and SAP landscape knowledge
• Based in Cape Town or willing to work locally

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Public Sector projects
