Principal Project Controls Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage data quality and validation by monitoring schedule, budget, funding, and commitments throughout the project life cycle
• Provide schedule, budget, funding, and commitment management for major water infrastructure projects
• Evaluate capital program and project performance to ensure compliance with established business processes
• Provide guidance for resolving complex project control problems involving schedule and cost control processes
• Customize project control systems and processes to meet specific project requirements related to budget and schedule needs

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 10+ years of related work experience
• Proven experience with Water and Wastewater projects
• Strong expertise in schedule and budget management
• Proficiency in data quality and validation processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with eBuilder or Trimble
• Thorough knowledge of current engineering and construction technology and software
• High proficiency in understanding the responsibilities and impact of project execution
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Competency with project management information systems (PMIS)
