Principal Program Cost Control Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for large-scale, externally reported programs.
• Monitor and analyze program performance metrics, including CPI, SPI, and Estimate at Completion (EAC).
• Develop and review quarterly EACs and facilitate financial planning activities such as RPLAN updates.
• Serve as the primary financial point of contact for Program Management, providing guidance to Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Collaborate with Control Account Managers (CAMs) and project schedulers to ensure data integrity and cost/schedule integration.
• Prepare and deliver Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Reports (IPMDAR) and Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs).
• Perform risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and deliver financial presentations to executive leadership.

Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years of relevant experience (or 3 years with an Advanced Degree).
• Deep knowledge of Government EVM reporting and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with EVM tools such as PMX, SAP, or PRISM.
• High proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP EV, MPM, PMX, PRISM MRP, and AO.
• Strong critical-thinking, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Experience preparing and presenting briefings to customers and executive administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence without authority.
