Principal Program Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Drive discovery activities and program-level business analysis across multiple teams and workstreams
• Translate business problems into functional specifications, user stories, and actionable delivery plans
• Lead cross-squad dependency management to ensure alignment across products and delivery teams
• Collaborate with business, product, engineering, architecture, risk, and compliance stakeholders
• Facilitate discovery workshops, backlog refinement sessions, and cross-functional alignment meetings
• Create and maintain business artefacts including process flows, BRDs, and acceptance criteria
• Analyse retail lending processes including origination, disbursement, servicing, and collections
• Support lending platform modernization and legacy system replacement initiatives
• Provide oversight and mentoring to squad-level Business Analysts

Requirements

• Strong experience in retail core banking and lending (post-origination, servicing, and restructuring)
• Deep understanding of lending products like Installment Loans, BNPL, and FCL
• Knowledge of credit underwriting models, interest frameworks, and amortization schedules
• Experience with core banking modernization or LMS replacement programs
• Understanding of General Ledger (GL) and accounting implications related to lending
• Proficiency in financial calculations including PMT, EIR, and repayment schedules
• Experience creating BRDs, functional specifications, and user stories
• Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills
• Strong mentoring and coaching experience for other Business Analysts
