Principal Product Marketing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product marketing strategies for the automotive MCU portfolio
• Define product positioning, messaging, and differentiation to drive growth
• Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to inform roadmaps
• Collaborate with internal marketing and design teams to define product roadmaps
• Drive worldwide market introduction plans, including leading specific market segments
• Manage the complete "product package" including documentation, starter kits, and software
• Produce public marketing materials such as whitepapers, press releases, and webinars
• Coordinate information exchange with global Renesas teams and support sales forces

Requirements

• Graduate degree in electronic or computer engineering
• 8+ years of experience in product/technical marketing or FAE within the MCU semiconductor industry
• Proven experience in the automotive market, including understanding Tier 1 requirements
• Deep knowledge of embedded microcontrollers and their ecosystems
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); German language proficiency is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automotive system and E/E architecture
• Background in customer negotiations and handling complex technical RFQs
• Expertise in product definition and requirement management
• Knowledge of MCU architecture, networking, functional safety, and security
• Experience with embedded software
