Responsibilities

• Own the payments platform strategy and roadmap, including direct bank integrations, payment provider partnerships, and payment routing infrastructure
• Drive product strategy to reduce payment risk, including AI-powered fraud detection systems
• Own bank account verification, expanding provider coverage and geographic reach
• Lead payments onboarding automation to reduce manual operational overhead
• Define product strategy for payment method management and multi-provider support
• Lead payments platform modernization, expanding payment rails and payout capabilities
• Drive currency localization across Zip to enable multi-currency workflows
• Collaborate with engineering and design to define requirements and deliver enterprise-grade capabilities

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience
• 10+ years of overall professional experience
• Experience in payments infrastructure, fintech, bank integrations, risk/fraud, or financial compliance
• Technical fluency in integration architectures, API design, and payment processing systems
• Strong analytical skills for measuring fraud metrics and risk model performance
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without authority
