About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop the strategy for plan tiering and evolution across a global portfolio, aligning consumer needs with business objectives
  • Design and lead a learning agenda to deepen understanding of consumer willingness to pay and price elasticity
  • Develop a product strategy to balance revenue tradeoffs between advertising, subscription, and paid sharing revenue
  • Define and build product and user experience features for plans and monetization
  • Identify and drive opportunities to improve ARPU, conversion, and churn
  • Develop experimentation frameworks to test tiering, pricing, promotions, and offers
  • Manage a team of Product Managers focused on tiering and monetization
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing, and emerging business models

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in strategy, product, or consulting focused on monetization strategy
  • In-depth experience in how companies tier, package, and structure commercial offerings
  • Proven record of prioritizing and driving large-scale monetization programs and initiatives
  • Experience working in a direct-to-consumer subscription business with global scope
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior/preferences
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in streaming, media, or digital subscription businesses
  • Background in global pricing and localization strategies
  • Familiarity with ad-supported subscription models (AVOD/hybrid tiers)
