About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning and delivery of HR technology solutions, serving as the bridge between HR business partners and IT.
- Design and document scalable, future-state application architectures and end-to-end HR business processes.
- Execute hands-on technical work, including POCs and feature implementation across Workday Core HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, and Compensation.
- Provide subject-matter expertise for Workday configurations, integrations, and debugging.
- Evaluate and implement emerging AI-driven capabilities within the HR domain, such as intelligent talent acquisition and predictive attrition.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure secure and well-integrated solutions.
- Support change management through user training, technical documentation, and communication to drive system adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in IT product ownership, with at least 10 years focused on HR systems.
- 8+ years of deep experience with the Workday platform and its technologies.
- Hands-on expertise with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Integration Cloud, and Workday Extend.
- Strong knowledge of Workday Security Model, Business Process Framework, and Advanced Reporting.
- Experience designing integrations and working with platforms such as Dell Boomi.
- Proven ability to create process maps, data models, and architectural diagrams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI/ML use cases in HR, such as chatbots or workforce analytics.
- Workday or equivalent HR systems certification.
- Prior experience working in a mid-to-large tech organization or a fast-paced environment.
