Principal Product Manager, AI

Responsibilities

• Set the vision and multi-quarter strategy for a major area of Zip’s AI product
• Partner with engineering, design, and AI research to ship sophisticated agent capabilities
• Work directly with customers to understand user needs and gather feedback on agents and chat experiences
• Own the quality bar for AI experiences including evals, rollout gates, guardrails, and feedback loops
• Roll up your sleeves to assist with user research, debugging quality issues, or reviewing agent outputs

Requirements

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in SaaS or consumer tech
• Proven track record of owning ambiguous, high-impact areas end to end
• Deep experience partnering with engineering and design to ship sophisticated products
• Experience building platform or foundational products for other teams to build upon
• Ability to set product strategy and influence cross-functional partners and leadership
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Extreme attention to detail and ability to grasp complex business processes
• Ability to prioritize ruthlessly
