Principal Product Manager, Agentic Systems

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for CloudZero's agentic and automated decision systems
• Identify high-impact opportunities to translate financial and operational signals into recommendations or automated actions
• Define system behaviors for observation, recommendation, human approval, or autonomous action
• Model trust, safety, blast radius, rollback, and auditability in all designs
• Lead end-to-end product development for complex, system-level workflows
• Write precise product requirements for signal ingestion, decision logic, and guardrails
• Partner with engineering on architectural tradeoffs regarding correctness, latency, and scalability
• Engage with enterprise customers to validate automation and explainability requirements

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience as a Product Manager building B2B SaaS products in technically complex domains
• Strong product craft including writing detailed PRDs, specs, and decision documents
• Experience owning products involving automation, orchestration, or decision systems (e.g., DevOps, data orchestration, observability, or security)
• Ability to work closely with engineers on system behavior, edge cases, and failure modes
• Experience designing workflows where trust, correctness, and false positives are critical
• Proven ability to own a complex product area end-to-end

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud infrastructure platforms
• Familiarity with AWS/GCP/Azure billing data, data pipelines, or IaC/CI/CD concepts
• Background in data engineering, DevOps, SRE, or systems engineering
• Comfort analyzing telemetry, logs, or metrics
• Experience with AI/ML-enabled products requiring explainability and control
