Principal Product Manager, Accounts + Identity

Responsibilities

• Own the customer account platform and identity foundation across the commerce ecosystem
• Define and build AI-powered identity and account experiences, including intelligent agents
• Manage authentication architecture, including passwordless flows, SSO, and session management
• Build the canonical customer profile model and identity resolution systems
• Improve customer-facing account experiences such as dashboards, order history, and profile management
• Define identity integrations with checkout, customer support, fraud systems, and AI/ML frameworks
• Establish guardrails for AI agent permissions, consent, and auditability
• Partner with engineering, design, security, and data teams to balance reliability and security

Requirements

• 8+ years of total experience with at least 2+ years in product management
• Experience building platform or infrastructure products
• Strong technical fluency with APIs, system design, and data models
• Experience building or contributing to AI-powered products (AI agents, copilots, or LLM-powered workflows)
• Strong analytical and metrics-driven mindset
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with identity, authentication, or account systems
• Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, and session management
• Ecommerce or marketplace platform experience
• Experience with privacy, security, or trust systems
• Experience scaling internal platforms
• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt design, or agent orchestration
