Principal Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop radiation-hardened ICs for the space industry and harsh environments
• Serve as the central hub for the development team, ensuring all project milestones are met
• Integrate cross-functional requirements across IC design, radiation effects, applications, test, assembly, packaging, and reliability engineering
• Characterize designs to ensure full compliance with electrical specifications
• Drive continuous improvement activities for New Product Introduction (NPI) processes within the Hi-REL team

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in semiconductor New Product Introduction (NPI)
• BSEE or MSEE degree
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and bench power supplies
• Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE) such as ETS64, microFLEX, UltraFLEX, or Advantest 93k
• Strong statistical data analysis skills using tools like JMP or Spotfire
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead product development teams
