Principal Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise module-level design for components including Fan, LPC, HPC, Combustor, HPT, and LPT.
• Ensure technical validation through analysis and simulation, including CAD, FEM, and CFD.
• Conduct design reviews (PDR/CDR) to confirm design maturity and resolve technical risks.
• Define and manage technical maturity gates to support product management strategy and milestones.
• Collaborate with manufacturing departments through DFM/DFA processes.
• Coordinate with platform OEMs, test engineering, system engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure engine integrity.
• Mentor, coach, and develop the product engineering team while promoting continuous improvement.
• Institutionalize knowledge management, standards, and methods traceability throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in turbofan propulsion, aerospace, or complex engineered systems.
• Proven experience in an engineering management position.
• Solid understanding of turbofan architectures, modules, sub-systems, and integration constraints.
• Extensive experience in product engineering and detailed multi-physics design (fluid-dynamics, aerothermal, mechanical behavior, etc.).
• Experience working with customers, OEMs, authorities, or large-scale development programs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to structure complex information into actionable decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills within a multicultural environment.
