About the Company

Humanoid is on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. Their HMND-01 Alpha platform is already running in real industrial pilots, utilizing the KinetIQ VLM/VLA-based AI framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a cross-functional team of security engineers throughout the HMND 01 development lifecycle
• Define product security requirements and advise on implementation standards for embedded and AI-enabled robotic systems
• Own and maintain security artefacts including Security Management Plans, TARA reports, and Risk Assessments
• Ensure compliance with EU Machinery Regulation 2023/1230, IEC 62443, and the EU Cyber Resilience Act
• Establish and maintain a Product Security Incident Response (PSIR) process
• Support commercial bids and represent Humanoid's security posture in customer and regulatory engagements

Requirements

• Proven experience with ISO 27001/27004/27005 and NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Experience managing security risk for regulated, safety-critical hardware (automotive, industrial automation, etc.)
• Working knowledge of IEC 62443 and ISO/SAE 21434
• Ability to interpret Penetration Test reports and author Remediation Action Plans
• Strong communication skills to articulate complex risks to technical and executive stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with threat modelling methodologies like STRIDE or PASTA
• Understanding of secure-by-design principles for AI/ML-enabled systems
• Exposure to CAN bus, Ethernet backbone, or wireless interface security
• Experience with PSIRT processes or coordinated vulnerability disclosure
• Knowledge of UL 4600, UL 3300, or ISO 13482
• Prior engagement with certification bodies like TUV, UL, or BSI
