Principal Post-Silicon Validation Engineer (Bringup)

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop and debug silicon validation tests in bare metal C/C++ on FPGA/Emulator prior to first silicon
• Deploy and debug validation tests on first silicon
• Develop automated test frameworks and regression suites in Python
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and implement best practices
• Analyze test results, identify failures, and debug defects
• Contribute to shared test infrastructure and provide feedback to architects

Requirements

• Strong experience in bare metal / embedded C/C++
• Good knowledge of digital ASICs
• Post-silicon validation experience in digital ASIC environments
• Python and Linux proficiency
• Ability to debug deep, complex issues across teams and languages
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Driver-level experience with PCIe, Ethernet, or memory technologies (LPDDR, DDR, HBM)
• Experience with I2C, I3C, SPI, and other peripherals
• Knowledge of mixed-signal building blocks (PLLs, high-speed PHYs)
• Arm CPUs, System IP, and debug tools experience
• Familiarity with AMBA protocols
• Understanding of ML applications and workloads
• Characterization, failure analysis, or statistical analysis experience
