About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and evolution of a comprehensive training strategy for account management roles.
- Build and maintain a competency-based curriculum spanning the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to advanced enterprise engagement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate product context, clinical knowledge, and enterprise selling skills into learning journeys.
- Define annual training requirements and success metrics aligned to account performance and execution quality.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using performance data and learner feedback to ensure sustained business impact.
- Act as a strategic thought partner to Account Management leadership and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Medical partners.
- Manage high-visibility, complex projects and oversee external vendors to extend training capacity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in account management, sales, sales training, or commercial enablement.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem, including health systems, payer dynamics, and organized customer environments.
- Expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and training technologies.
- Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and communication skills for engaging senior-level audiences.
- Strong analytical mindset and proven project management skills.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree or professional certification in training, leadership development, or organizational development.
- Experience leading enterprise-level enablement initiatives within complex, matrixed commercial organizations.
- Demonstrated success driving measurable improvements in account performance through capability-building programs.
