Responsibilities

• Serve as the Principal Officer and lead the GIFT City office of the Fund Management Entity (FME)
• Act as part of the Investment Committee to ensure robust governance structures
• Build and implement efficient processes and systems for smooth operations
• Collaborate with SEZ, IFSCA, and other stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance
• Assess regulatory changes and proactively mitigate potential risks
• Work with Compliance and Risk Managers to ensure timely and accurate regulatory filings
• Run projects related to Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs) and other product launches
• Oversee portfolio composition proposals initiated by the GIFT City office
• Manage recruitment and development of personnel and Key Managerial Personnel (KMPs)

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in securities markets or financial products
• Experience in roles such as portfolio manager, broker-dealer, investment advisor, or fund management
• Proven track record in operations, compliance, and client servicing within equity, mutual funds, and capital markets
• Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), or MBA in Finance/Investment/Operations
• Professional qualification or postgraduate degree in finance, law, accountancy, or related fields

Preferred Qualifications

• NISM certifications (Modules IIB, VII, VIII, XA & XB)
• Experience in fintech or mobile app development
