Principal Offer Optimization and Data Science

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end solution implementation lifecycle, from project kickoff and business process assessment through to customer care transition
• Develop a deep understanding of application interfaces to train airline analysts and drive solution adoption
• Collaborate with Operations Research teams to deploy and fine-tune Dynamic Pricing and Offer Optimization models
• Attend onsite customer meetings to gather requirements and understand complex business processes
• Identify customer best practices and communicate insights to Solution Management teams to enhance product offerings
• Lead data gathering and validation processes to ensure accuracy within Revenue Optimization and Dynamic Pricing solutions
• Mentor and train new business analysts on solutions and internal processes
• Contribute to RFPs and sales operations by defining work orders and implementation costs
• Act as a lead conduit between developers, architects, and external customers through excellent communication

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in Revenue Management, Pricing, or associated ML/OR models for airlines
• Deep knowledge of Airline Offer Optimization, Management, and the Offer Order Ecosystem
• Strong data analytical skills with the ability to apply modeling to real-world travel problems
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database concepts
• Experience with travel distribution or reservation systems such as Sabre, Galileo, or Amadeus
• Proven experience with Dynamic Pricing, Competitive Benchmarking, and Revenue Management applications
• Ability to design experimentation frameworks and interpret model outputs for airline use cases
• Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in R, Python, VBA, or C++
• Experience with Google BigQuery or MongoDB
• Knowledge of forecasting and optimization techniques
• Experience using Salesforce CRM
