Blue Energy’s mission is to unlock energy abundance, energy affordability, energy security, and turn-key decarbonization by developing the fastest path to deploying new nuclear MWs at scale. We are utilizing shipyard manufacturing supply chains and techniques from offshore oil and wind to reduce the cost of nuclear plants by over 60%.
Responsibilities
- Support origination and advancement of commercial opportunities with hyperscalers, data center operators, industrial customers, and select utilities
- Lead strategic analysis for hyperscaler/offtake models to design and position new commercial structures
- Work directly with customers on strategic and commercial topics, translating requirements into contract structures and value propositions
- Contribute to the structuring, evaluation, and negotiation of long-term offtake agreements such as PPAs and capacity structures
- Conduct targeted market analysis across U.S. power markets, including RTO dynamics and load growth
- Develop high-quality commercial materials including customer narratives, pitch decks, and term sheets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure commercial strategy aligns with technical and regulatory considerations
- Support RFP and bilateral procurement processes
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in strategy consulting, energy strategy, commercial strategy, or structured energy deals
- Strong understanding of energy markets and power-sector fundamentals
- Experience working on energy/offtake strategy problems (data centers, power procurement, or clean energy strategy)
- Demonstrated ability to interface with customers in externally facing conversations
- Ability to support complex deal structuring
- Excellent communication skills for translating analytical insights into narratives for senior audiences
- High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with hyperscaler energy teams or data center developers
- Exposure to power contracting (PPAs, capacity agreements, or virtual power products)
- Familiarity with U.S. energy regulatory frameworks or nuclear policy
- Background in new power plant or large energy infrastructure strategy
