Principal, N-Tier Management

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement N-tier supplier transparency and management frameworks across the contract manufacturing ecosystem
• Map and monitor the extended supplier ecosystem to increase visibility beyond Tier-1 suppliers
• Partner with Regional Procurement CMO Leads to integrate N-tier strategies into regional sourcing and supplier management
• Drive value across the N-tier supply base, focusing on cost competitiveness, quality, supply reliability, and sustainability
• Identify opportunities to reduce complexity and consolidate suppliers across the extended supply chain
• Increase transparency across the N-tier network to proactively manage geopolitical, operational, and financial risks
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across procurement, supply chain, quality, and sustainability teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline
• 12+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or supplier relationship management
• Proven experience working with contract manufacturing organisations (CMOs) and outsourced operations
• Strong understanding of multi-tier supply chain structures and supplier ecosystems
• Experience working in GMP-regulated environments such as OTC, healthcare, or FMCG
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills in a global/matrix environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Procurement
• Strong understanding of sustainability, ESG, and responsible sourcing practices
• Demonstrated success balancing cost, quality, service, and risk across extended supply chains
• Ability to operate with agility and adaptability in ambiguous environments
