Principal MRB/Liaison Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform complex stress calculations for metallic, composite, and hybrid structures to assess design solutions for manufacturing non-conformities and airframe repairs.
• Provide technical authority for aircraft structure concessions, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with Design, Manufacturing, and Quality departments to integrate stress requirements and develop optimum structural solutions.
• Check and approve stress justifications for nonconformities or modifications.
• Develop and maintain Technical Signature Delegation for primary and secondary aircraft structures.
• Mentor and develop other engineers in metallic and non-metallic structural repairs.
• Manage workflow for self and teammates to ensure all tasks meet customer timescales and requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Civil, or Mechanical) with an emphasis on structural design and mechanics of materials.
• 13 years of total experience in stress analysis with airframe structures.
• Extensive experience in airframe design (metallic and composites), F&DT, SRM, MRB, and certification processes.
• In-depth knowledge of FAR/JAR/CS/Part 25 regulations.
• Proficiency in CATIA, NASTRAN, and PATRAN.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office and Google Suite.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
