Principal Mission Planner

Responsibilities

• Develop long and short-term planning products to support test objectives and events
• Develop and brief weekly and 24-hour boards regarding objectives, safety constraints, resource constraints, and budgets
• Use mission planning software to track subsystems and document vehicle configurations
• Perform vehicle scheduling and create detailed planning documents
• Execute planning objectives for Ops Readiness Campaigns, including exercises and rehearsals

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in requirements analysis, technology planning, and systems integration
• Experience with mission planning software for satellite or aircraft operations
• Experience conducting and planning satellite or aircraft operations
• Experience working with space or air vehicles and systems, including modeling, simulation, and field testing
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Astronautical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in a relevant engineering field
• Experience in mission planning and supporting dynamic servicing operations
