Principal, Materials & Packaging Solution Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the digital transformation and execution of procurement strategies for direct materials and packaging sourcing
• Identify and implement opportunities to automate sourcing processes using RPA, AI, and advanced digital tools
• Drive the adoption of procurement technologies such as e-sourcing, SRM, and analytics platforms across global teams
• Partner with category managers to enhance sourcing strategies through data insights, should-cost modeling, and digital RFx processes
• Establish data governance and develop dashboards/KPIs to monitor cost savings, supplier performance, and risk metrics
• Map and optimize procurement processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and reduce cycle times
• Integrate digital tools for supply risk monitoring and improve visibility into tier-2 and tier-3 suppliers
• Act as a strategic bridge between Procurement, Technology, Finance, and manufacturing sites to lead change management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Risk Management, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in procurement, digital transformation, or procurement technology
• Proven experience implementing procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, or Ivalua
• Strong proficiency in automation technologies including RPA, AI, and workflow tools
• Advanced skills in data analytics, dashboarding, and Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex projects and influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Professional procurement or project management certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPIM, PMP)
• Experience leading enterprise-wide global procurement digital transformations
• Strong change management mindset with a proven ability to coach and mentor team members
