Principal Manufacturing Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and implement test plans and processes to ensure compliance with worldwide PCBA test requirements.
• Support production builds at Vietnam PCBA factories and drive continuous improvement of First Pass Yield (FPY).
• Manage PCBA factory test lifecycles, including fixture planning, readiness, and issue tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze PCBA factory test data (NUDD, DFT, HSR, 5C) and implement lessons learned.
• Define system requirements for complex customer systems and ensure hardware/software compatibility.
• Perform root cause analysis to resolve complex technical issues and optimize system performance.
• Document technical results in reports and white papers while ensuring projects meet schedule and cost objectives.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience in PCBA test engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Advanced understanding of system architectures.
• Deep knowledge of hardware and software interactions with the ability to resolve complex issues.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work onsite at the ODM site in Vietnam 5 days a week.
