Principal Machine Learning Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build agent harnesses for Rovo Chat to drive step-function improvements in quality, reliability, and latency
• Lead technical design and drive complex projects from initial concept through to launch
• Lead and support senior engineers while working cross-functionally across the organization
• Collaborate with internal customers and other teams to set expectations and communicate technical results
• Bring bleeding-edge AI innovations to the product to realize the transformative potential of machine learning

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development
• Proven experience building customer-facing Generative AI applications at scale
• Experience pushing the state of the art to achieve breakthrough quality and reliability
• Deep understanding of the Machine Learning project lifecycle
• Experience leading and supporting senior engineers and working in cross-functional environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in taking a platform approach to building product features to enable multi-team contributions
• Experience with efficiently scaling and deploying Machine Learning models
