Principal IV&V Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams of systems, hardware, and software engineers to ensure system compatibility and performance
• Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and functionality across all product levels
• Support the transition of products from prototype to production through design reviews and documentation
• Direct integration and testing efforts within multidisciplinary teams
• Organize test teams, generate testing artifacts, and oversee test events including subcontracted efforts
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to align project milestones and deliverables

Requirements

• STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) with minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience
• Expert knowledge of the full Systems Engineering V-model, from CONOPS development to Sustainment
• Proven experience directing integration and testing efforts within multidisciplinary teams
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Specific experience with Nuclear Command & Control (NC3) programs
• Experience integrating firmware and software onto hardware products
• Experience with audio, video, or communication system integration (SATCOM, LOS/BLOS, AEHF, or V/UHF)
• Experience with computer networking, API development, and systems security
• Proficiency in tools such as CAMEO, Rhapsody, Jira, or IBM EWM
• Knowledge of scripting for analysis or build and test automation
• Current active Top Secret Clearance
