About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the organization’s enterprise IAM architecture, including identity lifecycle management and access control models.
- Lead the design and implementation of the governance and enforcement layer for AI agents.
- Architect and drive the adoption of IAM solutions such as Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), SSO, MFA, and federation services.
- Evaluate, select, and implement IAM technologies, providing expert recommendations to senior leadership.
- Establish and enforce IAM policies and standards to meet regulatory requirements including SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and business stakeholders to integrate IAM solutions with enterprise systems.
- Support incident response activities related to identity and access, including investigation and remediation.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members and technical staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT security, with at least 5 years focused on IAM architecture and solutions.
- Deep expertise in IAM protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and Kerberos.
- Hands-on experience with leading IAM technologies (e.g., Okta, Entra ID, SailPoint, Delinea, or Active Directory).
- Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Proven experience with regulatory and compliance requirements such as SOX, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CIAM, or cloud-specific security certifications.
- Experience with DevOps, automation, and identity-as-code practices.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust security frameworks and modern authentication paradigms.
