Principal - Investor Relations

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of IR to define and execute the firm's multi-year capital formation strategy
• Hold direct accountability for fundraising outcomes across assigned channels and regions
• Own strategic LP relationships globally, including sovereign wealth funds and major public pensions
• Co-lead the IR function, overseeing team structure, talent development, and performance management
• Oversee LP servicing infrastructure including capital calls, distributions, and DDQ management
• Lead the strategic direction and execution of the firm's co-investment program and GP-led secondaries

Requirements

• 12 to 18 years of experience in senior investor relations, capital formation, or LP coverage within private equity
• Established network of senior institutional LP relationships across North America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia
• Proven track record of contributing to successful multi-billion dollar/euro fundraises
• Deep fluency in fund structuring, LPA terms, performance attribution, and portfolio analytics
• Exceptional executive communication skills and external presence
• Experience managing and mentoring IR professionals
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Proficiency with institutional IR CRM platforms (Dynamo, Backstop, Altvia, or similar)
• Higher education degree in finance, economics, or business administration; CFA or MBA strongly preferred
