About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a firmwide subject matter expert on cultural resources compliance
- Provide strategic direction and consultation to project teams and clients on regulatory pathways
- Ensure compliance with NHPA, ARPA, and NEPA requirements
- Plan, scope, and review field investigations, technical reports, and documentation
- Lead and manage projects including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and quality oversight
- Mentor and develop staff to foster technical growth and scientific excellence
- Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders
Requirements
- Graduate degree (M.A, M.S, or Ph.D.) in archaeology, anthropology, or a closely related field
- 12+ years of relevant post-education experience in Section 106/110 Compliance
- Experience in cultural resource management within the Midwest or South
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring others
- Strong communication and organizational skills
