Principal Investigator

Responsibilities

• Serve as a firmwide subject matter expert on cultural resources compliance
• Provide strategic direction and consultation to project teams and clients on regulatory pathways
• Ensure compliance with NHPA, ARPA, and NEPA requirements
• Plan, scope, and review field investigations, technical reports, and documentation
• Lead and manage projects including scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and quality oversight
• Mentor and develop staff to foster technical growth and scientific excellence
• Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry stakeholders

Requirements

• Graduate degree (M.A, M.S, or Ph.D.) in archaeology, anthropology, or a closely related field
• 12+ years of relevant post-education experience in Section 106/110 Compliance
• Experience in cultural resource management within the Midwest or South
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring others
• Strong communication and organizational skills
